Description
Purpose
The loads are intended to measure force and mass in various demonstration experiments on mechanics and other courses of physics.
| | Substance, steel
Load unit mass, (500, 200, 100, 50) g
Toed hook mass, 50 g
| The load construction and usage
Steel loads are implemented as discs of 50 mm diameter. Each set of loads has a toed hook which is meant to be the main load. The hook is flat; its thickness is less than the rod diameter. Other loads can be easily put on the rod in a column if a load has an appropriate round hole in the center to fit the rod’s thickness: radial slits to fit the hook’s thickness are also essential. Thus, the loads become fixed. The could be put off by turnung the slits in ooposite to hook and raising them up.
