The generator is intended to make sinusoidal oscillations in frequency range of 20 up to 20000 kHz with the amplitude regulated.

The control panel usually has frequency multigraded switch, mode switch, load switch, output signal regulator etc, indicator of frequency generated, pins. The output parameters og generator meet the requirements of demonstration experiments on acoustics, alternative current studying with various types of resistances (inductance and reactance).
